About Our Founder
Chisanga “Casey” Chongo is the founder of The Enough Mother and a mother of two who knows firsthand how easy it is to lose yourself while trying to be everything your child needs.
When her youngest daughter was diagnosed with autism, Chisanga found herself carrying emotions she rarely heard mothers discuss openly—guilt, comparison, and the pressure to somehow get motherhood “right.” She loved her daughter deeply, yet somewhere along the way, she realized she had stopped making room for herself.
As Chisanga released the expectations she had placed on herself, connected with other mothers, and embraced her family’s unique journey, something shifted. She found greater peace, deeper acceptance, and permission to be both a devoted mother and a whole woman with dreams of her own.
After more than a decade as a CPA and corporate leader, Chisanga created The Enough Mother to give mothers of autistic children the understanding and support she wishes she had received.
Her mission is simple: to help mothers release guilt and comparison, reconnect with themselves, and build lives they love alongside motherhood—not someday when life gets easier, but now.
